Two methods of website development
Hollman Media, LLC offers two primary service routes for high quality website development.
The Streamlined approach is offered to small businesses and organizations that need an efficient, step-by-step approach to development and can typically avoid the “red tape” found at larger organizations. This method is aimed at entities with no more than a few owners, or officers, who can also act as the primary decision makers throughout the project.
Our Comprehensive approach is aimed at companies and larger organizations that have experience working with outside agencies and marketing firms. While there is still a step-by-step procedure in place for developing these types of sites, a larger budget allows for greater flexibility and more options throughout each phase of development. Requests for proposals, travel time, on-site presentations, multiple design concepts, in-depth strategy and market segmentation, professional photographers, usability focus groups, and extensive programming are all characteristic of what you might expect from this approach. This option is not suitable for small “mom and pop” operations, but is essential for larger entities that demand and expect this approach.

Web applications development
Hollman Media, LLC has years of experience in web applications development. Because every client project is unique, no two projects will require the exact same steps and technologies. It is best to set up an initial consultation with us to determine how--and if--we can help you. There's no harm in picking up the phone and asking us a few questions.
Our primary expertise is developing web applications that make use of PHP, MySQL databases, JavaScript on the client side, XML and AJAX. We couple these technologies with elegant, easy-to-use graphical user interfaces that are designed in house by our designers. We also have experience using other web application development technologies; it is best to contact us for further information.
You may already be familiar with one or more of our more widely-used web applications. Our site manager tools are one such example that allows our customers to easily update their Streamlined sites. The WeatherThreat.com network is a widely deployed--and very sophisticated--web application used by millions of people, thousands of schools and business, and nearly a hundred media organizations. The client-side of the PickMyTickets.com event ticketing system is a great example of a group of clients who had a great idea and subsequently contacted us to see if the concept could be turned into a web application. The PointedOut.com online rewards club is another example.
Not all web applications are this large in scale. If you are looking for some simple, online inventory control tools, for example, you might find our services to be a perfect fit. Contact us today if you have a problem or an idea that you think could better utilize the Internet.
